In Suzak, a suspect in cattle theft has been detained
According to information from the local police, on February 16, 2026, residents of the village of Taran-Bazar, which is part of the Kok-Art rural district, filed a report about livestock thefts. In their statement, they indicated that during the autumn of 2025, their livestock was stolen from pastures located in the same district.
This incident was recorded by the investigative department of the Suzak district police and entered into the Unified Register of Crimes. A criminal case was initiated regarding this incident under Article 205-1 (Theft of Livestock) of the Criminal Code.
As a result of investigative actions, a local resident, N.A., born in 2004, was detained on suspicion of committing the crime. The Suzak district court decided to impose a preventive measure in the form of detention for the arrested individual.
Currently, law enforcement agencies are continuing to investigate the possible involvement of the detainee in other similar crimes. The investigation of the criminal case is ongoing.
