In the modern world, where technology is supposed to foster development, one of the most brutal forms of violence has become "digital terror." The prosecutor's office, which monitors compliance with the law in the criminal enforcement system, shared one of these horrific cases.
The case presented by the prosecutor's office revealed a shocking reality: even while in prison, a criminal was able to make his victim's life — a mother of three children — a true hell, driving her to extremes.
The story of E.S. is an example of cynical manipulation, where everything began with deception rather than love. E.S., significantly older than his victim, tricked the young woman into the Talas region and forced her into marriage, suppressing her will.
This "marriage," concluded under pressure, became the foundation for many years of suffering, where instead of familial warmth, the woman faced beatings and humiliation, ultimately leading to a tragic loss — the death of her first child.
Even after being imprisoned for other crimes, E.S. did not change his behavior. Using a mobile phone as a tool of terror, he launched an active campaign against his family.
While his wife mourned the loss of one of their newborn twins, he ruthlessly exploited her suffering, turning the mother of his children into a "living resource."
He insisted on constant money transfers, food, and clothing, effectively leading the woman into financial and psychological slavery.
When the exhausted victim tried to resist, E.S. used the most vile weapon — public humiliation. He created fake accounts in the name of the woman herself, her mother, and her sisters, posting intimate photos and disgusting slanders. The criminal went so far as to indicate in these fictitious profiles the personal contact details of the victim and her relatives, portraying them as people providing intimate services. This led to women receiving calls from strangers with indecent proposals.
This "shadow" attack was aimed at completely destroying the family's reputation, provoking serious conflicts in the homes of the victim's sisters, who began to face discontent from their husbands and relatives. Under pressure from public opinion, even close relatives began to reproach the woman, saying, "You have shamed us," depriving her of support and hope.
Under the weight of strong psychological pressure and suffering from deep moral trauma, the woman found solace in a crisis center, where she received professional help.
However, in the fall of 2024, when despair reached its peak, the mother of three children went to the bridge over the Big Chui Canal, intending to take her own life. At the most critical moment, she received a call from a lawyer at the crisis center. Hearing her desperate voice, the specialist did not break the connection until arriving at the scene and at the last moment saved her from death.
Even in court, E.S.'s cruelty knew no bounds. In front of the prosecutor and the judge, he openly threatened the victim, saying, "I will get out and finish you off, I will cut you," thereby acknowledging his intentions to kill. Based on compelling evidence, the court found E.S. guilty and sentenced him to six years in prison.
This case highlights a dangerous modern trend: some convicted individuals choose young and trusting girls, manipulating their feelings to enter into official marriages. Such unions are created to force women into financial slavery under the guise of legitimacy, turning them into couriers for transferring money and goods.
Moreover, criminals open bank accounts and SIM cards in the names of such women to commit fraudulent activities. As a result, even while behind bars, they make innocent women accountable to the law for financial machinations.
The prosecutor's office urges young women to be cautious not to become victims of such virtual traps, to avoid suspicious marriages, and not to open bank accounts at the request of unfamiliar people.
