According to law enforcement information, the driver was apprehended during operational activities thanks to the efforts of the investigative department of the Department of Internal Affairs.
“During the investigation, it was determined that the driver was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the collision. The injured pedestrian was taken to a medical facility, and the driver was handed over to the investigative authorities for further proceedings,” the official statement said.
