K.D.M., born in 1980, was wanted by Russian authorities on suspicion of committing fraud amounting to 8 million 346 thousand rubles. The investigation believes that he was hiding in Issyk-Kul, using a passport issued under a different name.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that a verification of the legality of obtaining this passport is currently underway.
The detention took place thanks to close cooperation with law enforcement agencies from other countries.
