According to her account, at the time of the fire, the owner of the house was inside with five grandchildren. The woman was preparing to pray when she noticed smoke coming from the refrigerator. Together with one of her older granddaughters, a 9th-10th grade student, she rushed to the neighbors for help. However, the fire quickly engulfed the building, and it was no longer possible to return to save the other children.

Among the deceased, three children were siblings, whose parents work in Russia. The fourth child had come from Osh to visit relatives for the summer holidays.
It is worth noting that the fire occurred in a residential house in the village of Myrza-Aryk, which is part of the Karool rural district. The fire was completely extinguished at 03:50. As a result of the tragedy, the children who died were born in 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2023.
