According to available information, M.N. contacted the police with a statement indicating that on January 7, the suspect I.M., having gained his trust, offered him to purchase a Mercedes-Benz G 500. Under the pretext of a quick re-registration of the car, he received $23,500 from the victim, but afterwards stopped communicating, and neither the money nor the car was returned.
In connection with this fact, a criminal case was initiated under Article 209 "Fraud" of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic.
As a result of operational-search activities, I.M., born in 2002, was detained. He is currently in the temporary detention facility of the Bishkek City Police Department.
The investigation is ongoing.
