The Bryansk Court Sentences 18-Year-Old Kyrgyz Woman to Prison for Drugs
It has been established that the young Kyrgyz woman arrived in Bryansk on the instructions of her internet curators to organize the contactless sale of a significant batch of drugs.
However, her actions were intercepted by officers from the Drug Control Department (UCON) of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, who detained the suspect before the drugs could be sold.
The court found her guilty of attempting to sell drugs as part of a group acting in collusion using the Internet.
In making its decision, the judge took into account mitigating circumstances, and ultimately the punishment was set at eight years of imprisonment in a general regime colony.
At present, the sentence has not yet entered into legal force, and both parties have the right to appeal it in higher courts.
