A investigative-operational group immediately went to the scene. During the inspection, it was established that a 35-year-old man named S.M. was detonating firecrackers on the street while holding a toy gun, which caused concern among passersby that he was using a real firearm.
Worried residents reported the incident to law enforcement agencies. As a result, a protocol was drawn up against citizen S.M. under the article "Minor hooliganism" of the Code of Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, and he was placed in a temporary detention cell.
Police representatives reminded that the use of pyrotechnics and items that imitate weapons in public places can cause panic and mislead people, which entails legal responsibility. Residents were urged to remain calm and to prevent such incidents.
