In Noocat, a 21-year-old married woman was found dead — her sister revealed the details
Aynazik Zhyldyzbek kyzy, the sister of A.A., shared information that casts doubt on the official version of events in an interview with a Turmush correspondent. According to her, A.A. got married a year ago and had previously reported being beaten by her husband, including during their stay in Moscow. "She was pregnant and was looking forward to this event. Just a day before the tragedy, she told me about it. Her first pregnancy ended sadly — the baby's heart stopped, and this pregnancy was especially important for her. She couldn't have taken her own life," Aynazik said.
Several hours before her death, the girl sent an SMS to her mother asking: "Get me out of here, your son-in-law is beating me...". However, due to preparations for ooz achuu (the breaking of the fast in the holy month of Orozo), her mother did not see the message right away.
The tragedy became known to the relatives only the next morning, on February 20. They were informed that A.A. had "fallen ill," but upon arrival, they found her dead. The family claims that there were visible bruises on her back and in the kidney area.
At the time of the incident, the mother-in-law, husband, and two sisters-in-law were at home. The relatives of the deceased suspect them of concealing the truth and attempting to cover up the case with the help of elders. "We sent the body to Osh for an examination. We were told that the results would be ready in a month, and until then, the body cannot be retained. We demand a fair investigation," emphasizes Aynazik Zhyldyzbek kyzy.
The press service of the Osh region police confirmed that a preliminary investigation has been initiated.
According to information from the police, a report was received on the 112 hotline on February 20, 2026. It stated that a resident of the village of Kok-Bel, A.A., born in 2005, was found hanged in the shed of her house.
The fact has been registered, and a forensic examination has been appointed to determine the cause of death. The investigation is ongoing.
So far, it has not been possible to obtain comments from the husband’s relatives.
