Employees of the State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic (SCNS KR) discovered a weapons cache in Talas during operational activities aimed at combating the illegal trafficking of firearms. This was reported in a press release from the agency.
During the inspection at the scene, the following items were seized:
1. Two smoothbore shotguns of calibers 12 and 16 (with shortened barrels);
2. Three rifled small-caliber rifles;
3. Two traumatic pistols of the PM model;
4. One sound grenade;
5. Cartridges: 71 pieces of caliber 5.45 and 26 pieces of caliber 7.62.
Currently, efforts are ongoing to identify individuals involved in this case.
