In 2025, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted about 1,500 raids aimed at identifying minors in difficult life circumstances. This was reported by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Oktay Urmanbetov at a meeting of the parliamentary committee on law enforcement and crime prevention.

As a result of these raids, approximately 13,000 children were identified. Among them, 433 children were engaged in vagrancy, 311 in begging, and seven teenagers were detained for alcohol consumption.
The Deputy Minister also spoke about measures to ensure safety in educational institutions, noting that 683 video cameras have been installed in schools.
In addition, a "panic button" system has been implemented in 562 educational institutions. Oktay Urmanbetov added that when this button is activated, a police unit arrives at the scene within five minutes.
