The incident occurred on March 3 at around 00:30 in the Jal microdistrict on Kurchatov Street, where patrol officers stopped a "KIA Carnival" vehicle. During the interaction with the driver, the inspectors became suspicious of his state of intoxication as he refused to provide documents.
Upon arrival, inspector Jusupov heard from the driver that he was not operating the vehicle and identified himself as a journalist. Despite the video provided to him, which clearly showed that he was behind the wheel, the man continued to insist on his version of events.
Ultimately, the offender was taken to a narcological institution, where the examination confirmed the presence of alcohol in his blood. During the check, it was revealed that this driver had already had his license revoked for a similar offense. This is the second case in the last six months.
A protocol was drawn up against the offender, and his vehicle was sent to the impound lot. All materials have been submitted to the court.
