The criminal case against a 34-year-old citizen of Kyrgyzstan has been sent to court in Russia, the Murmansk region prosecutor's office reported on March 2.

The charges are based on Article 322, Part 2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, which concerns the illegal crossing of the state border of the Russian Federation by foreign citizens if their entry was legally prohibited.

The investigation established that in December 2019, the FSB of Russia issued a ban on entry for the Kyrgyz citizen, after which he left the country. However, he later returned and arrived in the Murmansk region with the intention of working. It was there that he became guilty of the crime stipulated in Article 158, Part 3, Clause "b" of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, related to theft committed by a group of individuals by prior agreement in a large amount.
