After the violation was recorded, the driver N.K.S. refused to provide his documents and to contest the inspector's actions. Ignoring lawful demands, he attempted to leave the scene by driving onto the sidewalk. The inspector tried to stop him by standing in front of the car, but the driver did not stop and ran over the inspector, dragging him for several meters.
Information about the incident was immediately relayed to the duty station. Internal security officers arrived at the scene, and a police crew was called using the number 102. The driver was detained and taken to GOM-5 of the Pervomaisky district. The case materials were forwarded to law enforcement agencies for further investigation.
