The incident occurred on February 24, when a resident of the village of Oktyabrskoye, while grazing cattle, discovered the disappearance of two sheep. The damage from the theft amounted to 50,000 soms.
A case was initiated under Article 205-1 ("Livestock Theft") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan.
The suspect turned out to be a 20-year-old villager, A.Sh. He was detained and placed in a temporary detention facility.
According to preliminary information, the stolen sheep had already been sold by the detainee.
