Two Dead, Bishkek Resident in Critical Condition: New Details on the Accident on the Bishkek—Naryn Road

The victims of the accident on the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart bypass road have been identified.

According to information from Turmush, the incident occurred on March 1 at the 100th kilometer of the Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart highway. As a result of the collision of three vehicles, two people died.

As reported by the Kemin Territorial Hospital, five people were hospitalized as a result of the accident. One of the victims, a 20-year-old resident of Bishkek, B.E., is in extremely critical condition and has already undergone emergency surgery.

Medical assistance was also provided to:

- V.O., born in 2003 [male];

- S.Ch., born in 1987 [female];

- Ch.E., born in 1999 [male].

At the moment, one of the injured continues to receive treatment in the surgical department of the Kemin Hospital. Another patient, after receiving first aid, refused further hospitalization and left to seek treatment in Bishkek independently.

The third victim was sent to Bishkek City Hospital No. 4 (BNITCiO) in a private ambulance for specialized assistance.

Turmush previously reported that the accident occurred around 16:30. The driver of the "Hyundai Sonata," traveling from east to west, while overtaking a "Nissan Serena," crossed into the oncoming lane and collided with an "Audi C4" that was moving in the opposite direction.

According to data from the press service of the Traffic Police Department of the Chui Region, as a result of the collision, the passenger of the "Audi C4," T.B.Sh., born in 1958, died at the scene from his injuries. The driver of the "Audi C4," K.Sh.N., born in 1951, died on the way to the hospital, never regaining consciousness.

Currently, an investigation into the causes of this tragic collision is ongoing.
