The information was provided by the press service of the city police department.
On February 23, a resident of the Kara-Suu district of the Osh region reported a fraud to the police. The man stated that in November 2025, his acquaintance, having gained his trust, promised to sell him two plots of land. However, as of today, he has not fulfilled his obligations and has disappeared with the victim's money and cars.
According to the complainant, he handed over 350,000 soms at a café, and then another 100,000 soms. Additionally, he appraised his cars: a "VAZ-2107" at 100,000 soms and a "Hyundai Elantra" at 700,000 soms. In total, the damage amounted to 1,250,000 soms.
The complaint was registered in the electronic log of the police information in the Suylman-Too district, after which investigative actions began.
As a result of operational measures, the police identified the suspect — I.I., born in 1986, also a resident of the Kara-Suu district, who was brought in for further investigation.
During the preliminary investigation, his criminal actions were revealed, and the investigative service initiated a criminal case under part 3 of article 209 of the Criminal Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, concerning large-scale fraud.
The court of the city of Osh decided on a preventive measure against the suspect, placing him in custody for two months.
It is worth noting that I.I. had previously encountered legal issues related to various criminal cases.
