Employees have been placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB
The Deputy Head of the First May District Department of Internal Affairs and the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department of the same department were detained on suspicion of receiving a bribe, the press service of the GKNB reports.
As the special services found out, the mentioned officials, acting in collusion, initiated criminal proceedings against a citizen of Kyrgyzstan named "A.M.M.".
Later, using the legal representative "K.A.T." as an intermediary, they demanded from the son of the victim "M.U.M." the amount of 30 thousand dollars to terminate the case.
The son of the victim "M.U.M." handed over part of this amount—20 thousand dollars—to the intermediary "K.A.T.", who, in order to give a legal appearance to the transaction, left the money in one of the currency exchange offices in Bishkek for subsequent transfer to the employees of the First May District Department of Internal Affairs.
As a result of the investigative actions and interrogations conducted, the Deputy Head of the Department "A.N.A." and the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department "A.I.A." were detained and placed in the temporary detention facility of the GKNB.
