Recently, information has emerged in Islamabad that Taliban fighters opened fire at the border with Pakistan, to which Pakistani security forces responded with appropriate actions.
In turn, the Afghan command announced retaliatory strikes on Pakistani territory in response to airstrikes carried out by Islamabad on February 22. According to Pakistani authorities, at least 70 militants were killed as a result of these attacks. However, Kabul denied this information, claiming that many civilians were among the dead, including women and children.
