Man Bit Off His Wife's Brother's Ear After Family Dinner in Kochkor-Ata
According to local police data, on February 14, 2026, at 01:15, information was received at the duty station of the Nooken district police from a medical institution that a resident of Kochkor-Ata, born in 1994, had been admitted to the surgical department with bodily injuries.
This incident was recorded by the investigative service of the Nooken district police in an electronic journal, after which necessary checks began.
As a result of the investigation, it was found that on February 13, 2026, at about 23:40, the suspect O.A., born in 1994, was visiting his brother-in-law in Kochkor-Ata. On his way home, he was caught up by his brother-in-law, B.B., born in 1992, who unexpectedly attacked him, stabbing him in the chest and head, and also biting off his left ear.
During the investigation, it was established that B.B. was in a state of intoxication. A kitchen knife was seized from the scene, which became material evidence.
In connection with the incident, the investigative service of the Nooken district police initiated a criminal case under Article 280 ("Hooliganism") of the Criminal Code. The court imposed a preventive measure in the form of house arrest for the suspect.
