Driver detained in Bishkek. Tried to return a car with fake license plates for a bribe.

The organized crime service in Bishkek discovered a Toyota Crown vehicle that was registered outside of Kyrgyzstan but had fake license plates. The violator turned out to be a citizen named K.A.
According to information from the Ministry of Internal Affairs, this vehicle has been placed in a specialized impound lot.

Later, as reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, citizen K.A. attempted to retrieve his car by offering the police a bribe to avoid responsibility.
At the moment he was handing over the money, employees of the Ministry's Internal Investigation Service detained him and transferred him to the investigative authorities. An investigation into this incident is currently underway.
The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasizes that the attempt to give a bribe is a criminal offense, for which liability is provided under the law.
