Man killed under the wheels of a "Toyota Camry": A girl was behind the wheel
According to the press service of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Chui region, on February 23, at about 07:46, a report was received at the duty station of the Sokuluk District Police Department about a pedestrian being hit on the 17th kilometer of the Bishkek—Kara-Balta road, on Frunze Street.
Immediately after receiving the report, an investigative group was dispatched to the scene to carry out the necessary procedures.
During the initial investigation, it was found that at around 07:40, the driver of a "Toyota Camry," 26-year-old K.A., was heading to work in Bishkek and struck a pedestrian on the specified section of the road.
As a result of the accident, the pedestrian, who sustained serious injuries, died at the scene. His identity was later established — he was 60-year-old K.K., a resident of the Moscow district of the Chui region.
The body of the deceased was sent to the morgue of the Sokuluk hospital. For further investigation, forensic and automotive technical examinations have been appointed, which will help establish all the circumstances of the incident.
Currently, a preliminary investigation is underway, the results of which will assess the actions of all involved parties from a legal standpoint, and a corresponding decision will be made in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic.
