In St. Petersburg, a janitor from Uzbekistan saved a six-year-old child

On Petrozavodskaya Street in St. Petersburg, an incident occurred that nearly led to tragedy. A six-year-old boy fell from the window of his apartment, located on the seventh floor. According to sources from RIA Novosti, the child's life was saved thanks to a random witness - a janitor who happened to be nearby.

This brave act was performed by Khayrullo, a migrant from Uzbekistan. He was alerted to the incident by a neighbor who noticed the boy standing in the open window. Responding to cries for help, Khayrullo quickly ran to the scene and managed to catch the falling child. He used his body to cushion the impact and tightly held the boy to himself to soften his landing.

After the rescue, he carried the injured child to the concierge, where he handed him over to the doctors who arrived on the call. Medical workers diagnosed the boy with injuries of varying severity and urgently hospitalized him.

According to preliminary data, at the time of the incident, the mother was in another room of the apartment. There were no special locks installed on the windows, which was one of the reasons for the incident.

Currently, the Prosecutor's Office of St. Petersburg is investigating all the circumstances of what happened. The agency is conducting a check on compliance with legislation in the area of preventing neglect and offenses among minors.
