Suspect in Armed Robbery of Store Detained in Bishkek

According to information received from the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District, the incident occurred on February 21. On that day, U. S. contacted the police requesting measures to be taken against an unknown perpetrator. She reported that around 13:20, a man entered the store located in the village of Kashka-Bash, who, threatening the underage saleswoman born in 2008, openly took 350 soms from the cash register and a Redmi 12 mobile phone, after which he fled the scene of the crime.

As a result of operational-search activities, police officers were able to identify and detain the suspect, identified as M. M., born in 1993. He was taken to the investigative department of the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District and, in accordance with the provisions of Article 96 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the Kyrgyz Republic, placed in the temporary detention facility of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek.

The investigation is ongoing.
