The Department of Internal Affairs clarified that based on the clothing of the people and the uniforms of the police officers, it is evident that the events could not have happened in winter. The actions of law enforcement were aimed at maintaining public order during the execution of a court decision by bailiffs.
At present, the building where this situation took place has been completely demolished.
Additionally, based on a collective appeal from citizens, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 213, Part 2, Clause 2 ("Unauthorized occupation or seizure of premises, buildings, or structures") of the Criminal Code of Kyrgyzstan, and the investigation is ongoing.
