According to the GUBDD, during the event, 37 vehicles, mostly SUVs, were placed in a penalty parking lot in Tokmok.
These vehicles were equipped with additional tanks through which drivers illegally imported fuel from Kazakhstan and sold it along the roads, as reported by the department. A fine of 5,500 soms was issued to the owners for each vehicle.
The cars will not be returned to their owners until the additional tanks are dismantled.
