Employees of the Main Directorate for Road Traffic Safety identified drivers during a special raid who had illegally installed additional fuel tanks on their vehicles. These measures allowed them to import fuel from Kazakhstan to Kyrgyzstan for illegal resale along the roads.
All seized vehicles were sent to a temporary impound lot, and their owners faced administrative fines of 5,500 soms. The return of the vehicles is only possible after the complete dismantling of the illegally installed tanks.
