The director of the sports college, Aibek Tashmatov, has been taken into custody.

The director of the Republican Sports College named after Sh. Sydykov, Aibek Tashmatov, known by the nickname Kuchuk, has been detained by the court of the Pervomaisky District of Bishkek. This decision will remain in effect until April 15 and was made at the request of the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic, as reported by the court.

Aibek Tashmatov is a suspect in corruption-related activities. An interagency investigative group is working on this case, headed by the chief of the Investigation Department of the Military Prosecutor's Office.

According to local media, preliminary data indicates the involvement of a foreign citizen in this case. In particular, it may involve the transfer of a Lexus 570 vehicle and an amount of 50 thousand dollars. However, this information has not yet received official confirmation from law enforcement agencies.
