According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations, a fire and rescue team from the city of Talas arrived at the scene at 09:08, reaching the location within three minutes. The fire was localized by 09:21, and complete extinguishment was finished by 09:51.
As a result of the fire, the interior finishing was damaged, and the kitchen area was completely burned out, covering an area of about 16 square meters.
The presumed cause of the fire was a short circuit in the electrical wiring.
Fortunately, there were no injuries among citizens, and the fire was contained, preventing it from spreading to nearby buildings.
