Using modern technologies, including artificial intelligence, criminals are creating fake video addresses from well-known figures, including the president. These materials can mislead and manipulate public opinion.
As noted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the main goal of such videos is to deceive citizens, gain their trust, and prompt them to transfer money or provide confidential information.
In this regard, the ministry recommends the following:
- avoid trusting videos that come from unverified and dubious sources;
- verify any information through official channels of government structures;
- do not click on suspicious links;
- do not transfer money or share personal data based on video materials found on the internet.
