The General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic announced the completion of work on the return of an illegally alienated social facility to municipal ownership.

During an inspection initiated by the prosecutor's office of the Uzgen district to identify instances of illegal transfer of state property into private hands, a serious violation of legislation was discovered. The issue concerns a land plot measuring 289.3 square meters, which belongs to the secondary school named after S. Sharipov, located in Uzgen.

It was found that this plot had been illegally removed from state ownership, which contradicts current legal norms.

Thanks to the efforts of the supervisory authority, the land plot, with a market value of 5 million 517 thousand 230 soms, was successfully returned to the municipality's balance.

Previously, the Uzgen city administration reported that nine structures had been illegally built on the school premises, which were also successfully returned to the educational institution's management.
