Large stones collapsed onto a truck, leading to a road blockage.
Today, February 16, a landslide of about 80 cubic meters occurred at the 400th kilometer of the Bishkek - Osh highway, in the Ak-Sai area, near Kara-Kul. This information was provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
As a result of the incident, a 50-year-old man was killed, and two other people sustained minor injuries. The stones fell on a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter truck that was passing by at the time, completely blocking traffic in that section.
By 07:50, road services had completed the removal of the stones, and traffic was restored.
