In Kara-Suu, a café was completely burned down: three fire crews worked at the scene.
According to information from the regional emergency management agency, the fire broke out on Sunday, February 15, 2026. The blaze affected a Finnish building located on Lenin Street in the city of Kara-Suu, leading to its complete destruction, covering an area of 295 square meters.
The first fire truck from the Kara-Suu district fire and rescue service No. 25 arrived at the scene at 07:23. At 07:38, a second unit joined the firefighting efforts, and at 08:21, due to the increasing scale of the fire, a third unit was dispatched for assistance.
Thanks to the joint efforts of all three units, the fire was finally extinguished at 12:19.
As a result of the incident, the building was completely burned down. According to preliminary information, no injuries have been reported. Currently, emergency management experts are conducting an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire and assess the material damage.
