In Bishkek, a man was arrested for three days for beating his biological sister
According to law enforcement officials, a signal was received at the "102" service reporting that a fight was occurring on Fuchik Street, where a brother was beating his sister. The caller indicated that the perpetrator might work in law enforcement.
Police officers arrived at the scene and detained 21-year-old G.D. and 37-year-old K.B. All information was registered in the AIS JUI system of the Lenin District Internal Affairs Department, after which a preliminary investigation began.
It became known that on February 12, around 19:30, a conflict occurred between G.D. and her brother, resulting in her sustaining bodily injuries. The victim requested action to be taken but refused a forensic medical examination.
As a result of the investigation, the case materials were forwarded to the public safety service. A protocol was drawn up against K.B. under Article 70 (domestic violence) of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Kyrgyz Republic, and he was placed in a temporary detention facility.
The Lenin District Court of Bishkek decided on a three-day arrest of the man in the special reception center of the Main Internal Affairs Department of Bishkek, and a protection order was also issued to him.
The Internal Affairs Department clarified that K.B. is not a police officer.
