Landslide on the road to the Toktogul Hydroelectric Power Station

In the Jalal-Abad region, in the area of the city of Kara-Kul, a landslide occurred on the internal road leading to the Toktogul Hydroelectric Power Station. The volume of fallen stones is approximately 105 cubic meters, according to the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES).

Due to this incident, the road is temporarily closed; however, a detour route has been organized. There are no casualties as a result of the incident.

Three heavy-duty trucks and one loader from the Toktogul Hydroelectric Power Station are working on-site to clear the road.
