According to eyewitness accounts, the situation arose after neighbors complained about a woman who had many dogs living with her. Unknown individuals arrived at the scene, did not identify themselves, and had no documents or court orders with them. They entered private property and began shooting.
The press service of "Tazalyk" denied the accusations, claiming that the shooting did not occur on private property.
According to information from the Internal Affairs Department of the Lenin District, the actions were carried out to ensure sanitary safety, and all activities were conducted in accordance with the necessary permits and the law.
The Internal Affairs Department noted that residents of the village of Novopavlovka had repeatedly complained about the large number of stray dogs and cats, which created unsanitary conditions and concern among citizens. Despite warnings, the owner did not take any measures to address the problem.
“A representative of the animal protection fund also arrived at the scene, promising to remove the dogs and resolve the issue within a week. An appropriate incident report was drawn up,” the press service of the district police department reported.
Nevertheless, the video has sparked significant outrage among social media users.
- “My heart breaks... Barbarians! People are behaving like soulless beings,” viewers comment.
- “The shooters must be held accountable,” users urge.
- “The employees are assisting the shooters by driving people away. How is this possible? They are in collusion!” commentators express their dissatisfaction.

- “Who gave your employees the right to prohibit video recording? Perhaps they should be educated on the basics of the law?” commentators raise the question.
- “If such actions go unpunished, it could happen to any of us. Today it's a dog, tomorrow who?” users question.
Journalist 24.kg contacted Irina Krasnova, the homeowner. She confirmed that two dogs were shot dead right in the yard, and several others were injured. She has a report from a veterinary clinic confirming that the dogs died from gunshot wounds.
