According to information from law enforcement agencies, on January 1, 2026, at 8:00 PM, two unknown individuals openly stole a Redmi 15C mobile phone from citizen O.Sh., valued at 10,000 soms, and fled the scene.
In connection with the incident, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 206 ("Robbery") of the Criminal Code.
During operational activities, officers of the criminal investigation department of the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of Bishkek were able to identify and detain the suspects, born in 2007, 2008, and 2010.
Preliminary data indicate that one of the detainees may also be involved in other property crimes in Bishkek. The stolen mobile devices were being passed on for subsequent sale. Some of them — Samsung A7, Redmi 11, and iPhone 7 — were voluntarily returned as part of the investigation.
Currently, investigative actions are ongoing to identify all episodes of the crimes and possible victims.
