The city hall explained the situation
Residents of several neighborhoods in southern Bishkek have faced a lack of heating and hot water in their homes.
According to the city hall, the cause of this issue was a pipe burst on 7 April Street, which is located between Mederov and Akhunbaev Streets.
“An accident occurred in the heating networks in this area, which have been in operation since 1974 and 1986, significantly exceeding their normative service life and becoming one of the reasons for the emergency situation,” the city hall noted.
During the repair work, there may be temporary restrictions on heating supply in the southern part of the capital. The timeline for the completion of the work will be communicated later,” the city hall added.
