The investigation established that the owners of several driving schools were accepting citizens for training, knowing that they were outside the country and not attending classes. The enrollment process was conducted remotely, without the need to attend either theoretical or practical lessons. As a result, fake documents were issued confirming the successful completion of the course.
According to the GKNB, this scheme allowed individuals without the necessary knowledge of traffic rules and driving skills to return to the country, obtain certificates of completion, and then, with the help of corrupt officials, take exams and receive driver's licenses.
During the sanctioned searches conducted, evidence was seized confirming the regular processing of "remote" cadets. Currently, operational investigative actions are ongoing: other participants in the scheme are being identified, and the illegally obtained licenses will be revoked.
