Information about the fire was received at 16:35. The fire broke out on the roof of the library's furnace, located on Ch. Aitmatov Street.
Two units from the Talas City Fire and Rescue Department No. 17 were dispatched to extinguish the fire. The operational actions allowed the fire to be localized by 17:01, and it was completely extinguished by 17:10.
The area affected by the fire was 10 square meters; however, fortunately, there were no casualties.
The cause of the fire was improper placement of the stove and chimney.
Thanks to the quick response of the rescuers, further spread of the fire was prevented, and the situation was brought under control.
