As reported by the press service of the local internal affairs department, the criminal investigation department of the Issyk-Kul regional police has initiated a campaign aimed at preventing cases of internet fraud throughout the region.
As part of this program, explanatory meetings are being held in educational institutions, organizations, and public places, where police officers share advice with citizens on how to protect themselves from online scammers. The distribution of informational brochures and leaflets with useful recommendations is also planned.
The Issyk-Kul regional police emphasized that protecting citizens and preventing fraud are their main tasks. It is expected that this initiative will help residents improve their cybersecurity.
