The Ministry of Internal Affairs warned about fake videos impersonating government officials.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports the emergence of fake videos on social networks. These videos, created using artificial intelligence technologies, impersonate the addresses of leaders of state and law enforcement agencies. They promise citizens "an income of 60,000 to 150,000 soms per week" through some investment platform.

In the ministry, they emphasize that the mentioned videos have no relation to actual statements by officials and are completely false.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs urges citizens to be vigilant, not to click on suspicious links, not to believe in easy earnings, and not to share personal information with strangers.

In connection with the spread of this fake content, an investigation has been initiated, and materials have been sent for further legal assessment.
