According to the investigation, some construction companies provided false information about the availability of parking spaces in the project documentation. Thanks to this misleading information, the projects received approval; however, in practice, the buildings were constructed without the necessary parking lots. In several cases, commercial properties appeared instead of the required infrastructure.
Special services established that employees of the architecture department had pre-arranged agreements with developers and systematically violated urban planning regulations. This led to increased transportation problems in the city, delays in construction timelines, and widespread dissatisfaction among investors who expected to receive apartments with full infrastructure.

As part of the criminal case, the first deputy chief architect and the city architect have been detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. Investigative actions are ongoing, during which all circumstances of the case and possible accomplices are being established.
