The press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that the condition of the ice cover is becoming extremely unsafe.
“The thickness of the ice may be uneven, which leads to the risk of sudden breakage, thereby creating a danger to the life and health of people. Do not leave children unsupervised and exercise caution while fishing and walking near water bodies,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs added.
In January and February, there were tragic incidents in Bishkek and the Chui region where children fell through the ice and lost their lives.
