In the city of Balıkçı, on a recently constructed mini-football field, metal football goals fell on a 10-year-old boy. After the incident, residents raised concerns about the safety of the facility, noting that the goals may have been inadequately secured and pose a threat to children.

According to the Internal Affairs Department of the Issyk-Kul region, the incident occurred on February 1. "On February 3, 2026, a resident of Balıkçı, Ch.A., posted a message on social media stating that a 4th-grade student in the village of Tash-Saray (city of Balıkçı) was injured while playing on the football field due to the falling goals, and raised the issue of responsibility.

In response to this report, for a comprehensive investigation and to make an objective decision, on February 3, 2026, the information was registered with the Internal Affairs Department of the city of Balıkçı, and a preliminary investigation was initiated.

During the investigation, it was established that the injured child is a 4th-grade student at Gymnasium No. 1 in Balıkçı, born in 2015. On February 1, 2026, at approximately 5:30 PM, while playing with neighborhood children on the mini-football field, he was pinned down by the fallen metal goals. The child sustained bodily injuries and was taken to the territorial hospital in Balıkçı, where he underwent surgery.



Currently, relevant examinations have been appointed regarding the incident, and preliminary investigative activities are ongoing.

According to doctors, the boy is receiving treatment in the surgical department of the Balıkçı city hospital. Medical staff reported that he underwent emergency surgery: serious injuries to the abdominal cavity and internal organs were identified, as well as internal bleeding. His condition was stabilized, and he was then transferred from the intensive care unit to the surgical department. Further treatment and daily monitoring are currently being conducted.

It is noted that the injured child has a rare blood type — I (Rh-negative). According to doctors, blood was found, a transfusion was performed, and the indicators returned to normal. The child's condition is assessed as moderate.
