The inspection took place in the early morning hours when winter conditions create the most unfavorable factors for movement: during the day, the snow begins to melt, and at night and early in the morning, ice forms on the roads.
During the inspection, a traffic accident was recorded: on the bypass road Bishkek—Naryn—Torugart in the Issyk-Ata district, a truck overturned due to slippery road conditions. The incident occurred around 09:00.
Azamat Osmonov emphasized the importance of timely treatment of roads with anti-icing materials and the need to strengthen control over the condition of the roads during morning and night hours.
"Responsible services have been instructed to take measures to ensure safety on the roads and prevent similar incidents. Disciplinary measures will be taken against officials who have failed to fulfill their duties regarding the maintenance of the roads," the statement notes.
Fortunately, no one was injured as a result of the traffic accident.
