The Investigative Committee of Russia informs that the attacker entered the building and attacked the students. The victims were promptly hospitalized.
According to TASS via the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Irina Volk, four people were injured as a result of the attack. The Ministry of Health of Bashkortostan confirmed that their condition is stable.
However, Telegram channels Baza and Mash claim that the number of injured may be six, including a dormitory security guard.
There is also information that there are foreign students among the victims.

During the arrest, the teenager resisted, resulting in knife wounds to two law enforcement officers. The attacker himself also sustained injuries and was hospitalized; his condition is assessed as serious, according to TASS.
The Investigative Committee has initiated a criminal case under articles related to attempted murder of multiple persons and encroachment on the life of police officers.
