In the Issyk-Kul Region, yurts and trade pavilions burned down in a fire

A fire broke out in the Issyk-Kul region, covering about 2 hectares of land. According to preliminary data, 4 yurts and 2 trade pavilions were burned as a result of the blaze.

The cause of the fire was dry grass igniting on the roadside in the village of Kök-Moynok-2.
According to information from the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Issyk-Kul region, the first firefighting team from Fire and Rescue Unit No. 19 in the city of Balykchy was dispatched to extinguish the flames at 22:36, and the second at 23:09. Due to strong winds, the flames spread to the yurts along the road, which were used as trading points. The complete extinguishment of the fire was finished at 01:05.

No injuries were reported in the fire. The flames engulfed about 2 hectares of land, and 4 yurts and 2 metal pavilions were burned on the roadside.
