The police reported which buses are most often associated with pickpocketing.
Nurlanbekov noted that there has been an increase in such crimes in the area of the Osh market recently. In this regard, as part of preventive measures, he held discussions with passengers and drivers of public transport, urging them to be vigilant and to promptly report any thefts to the police.
The preventive work also covered larger class buses. As Nurlanbekov pointed out, although these vehicles are equipped with surveillance cameras, it can be quite difficult to identify criminals in crowded conditions, as pickpockets often operate in groups.
The police remind passengers of public transport about the importance of being attentive to their personal belongings, especially during peak hours and on routes with high passenger traffic, such as the area of the Osh market.
