In the Kara-Kulja district of the Osh region, local rescue services are searching for a 37-year-old man who became a victim of an avalanche on the "Zhulgur" pasture. According to information provided by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, 126 people are currently involved in the operation. Specialized equipment is being used to clear the roads to improve access to the incident site.

The incident occurred on January 31, and it is worth noting that the Ministry of Emergency Situations had previously warned about the increased likelihood of avalanches in the mountainous areas of the country by issuing relevant storm warnings.
